Lions of Timbavati

This young fella had a run-in with two older males. He ran out of the bush right in front of our vehicle, got a fright and did what cats do ... straight up a tree. He wasn’t very good at it.
south of Gomo Gomo. The lion crossed the tar road from the Timbavati side, running quickly. He saw our vehicle and went straight up the tree. (Look like as one of the Ross males in 2017) Anyone knows it? Credit: Ade Foster  *This image is copyright of its original author

Yet returning to that male seen in Ngala recently (picutre below: https://imgur.com/5Vvosyf) he looks a lot like dude see there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjcHRfR32Mo at 11:35 first from right.

Nah, those 2 where 2 of 3 this males from Mluwati Concession :  *This image is copyright of its original author That male was seen with 3 females on Djuma, so i think he is without brothers..
After yesterday’s sighting of an unknown pride of 5 females (3 adult, 1 subadult and 1 cub) and 3 males (2 subadult, 1 cub), we didn’t expect the action this morning!
3 of the Vuyela coalition were heard in a distance, while the pride of 8 were feeding....they looked up and became nervous, finally running off as the coalition got closer. The 3 males then showed up to start feeding. Suddenly one of the smaller females came back, we’re not sure why. She was then mauled by the males, but luckily survived the attack and walked away. Two of the males then continued to feed on the buffalo, growling at the third, who wasn’t allowed to eat. What a crazy encounter to witness so early in the morning!! Where was this? That female was lucky, Vuyelas are turning into beasts, they grown a lot in past months..
