There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Video of another cattle eating jaguar, unknown sex, from the province of Santander in Colombia, these aren't Llanos jaguars, they inhabit the dry forests found at the foothills of the Andes. The previous report I posted of the cattle eating one that was killed decades ago had him at 136+kg. The jaguars in this area are growing big and are understudied

That's in Atlantic forest biome and that male of your 3rd photo has already been captured. He is on my #128 post in the weight thread along with another atlantic forest male of the same size.

Do you have any data on how much he weighed? I didn't see any info on their official page.

Its not from their official website, some of these projects won't share it that often in their pages but other projects will. Instituto Omça-Pintada is an example of that, Leandro and the IOP team monitor several wild cerrado jags like Ariane female, Rogério male and many others, but unfortunately they don't share their sizes/measurements on their official websites that often because they focus more on the conservation of the species. But sometimes they do show it.

That Atlantic forest male weights 70kg, he got caught by the loop technique where the animal is trapped by one of its paws, he was captured by the same brazilian project ''Projeto Felinos'' that spotted him on those camera trap photos you posted and that population in that state is one of the rarest of the Atlantic Forest jags.

The weight statement is right on the top of my post #128 in the weight and measurement thread, the source page is in portuguese as usual from most of my posts but you can see the weight statement from the link too.
https://tribunaonline.com.br/onca-pintada-e-capturada-com-o-uso-de-tecnologia

and regarding the another male from that same post that Atlantic Forest male is a 71kg male this time captured further south in Parque Nacional do Iguaçú by Proyecto Yaguareté the source page is in spanish and you can see the weight statement too.

In the Pantanal, an adult male jaguar can weigh approximately 140 kg, being the third largest wild cat in the world. I photographed this footprint while tracking Shaka, a 132 kg male we captured at @refugioecologicocaiman, being the heaviest ever recorded by @oncafari
