There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I don't know what the genetic makeup of this lion is, but it sure has that characteristic belly-mane:

A 2-year-old lion which was reportedly used as a guard for a house opposite a school in Lagos, Nigeria, was removed from there: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-50465081

Actually, the Nubian lion isn't the Barbary lion. See this for more details: https://wildfact.com/forum/topic-north-e...7#pid94987

A big croc, I would rather say a fat croc... And I also believe, when he moves at the beginning, that a forelimb is missing.

Kevin Richardson: " A few weeks ago, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a group of volunteers from Spain. As they were only there for a short time, we tried to give them the best experience possible…including collecting and hiding some of the neighbourhood antelope poo for Bobcat and Gabby to find on their enrichment walk. Well…things don’t always go as planned when working with animals! For the full video on #LionWhisperTV on @youtube click the link in my Linktree bio above. Have a wonderful weekend all. Get outside and smell the daisies, even if they’re covered in snow & of course remember that "

Kevin Richardson: " Contemplating what the future holds for our planet and these magnificent animals.
I wrote a long, contemplative and what I thought, thoughtful caption to go with this picture and then deleted it, because no matter what I write, no matter how sincere I am, there will also be opposing opinions but whatever us humans do or think the planet has survived much more than us. At the end of the day planet earth will shake humans off like a bad case of fleas. So I thought bugger it, sometimes life’s too short to get hung up about the future, social media and people, so here’s a picture of me hanging with my bud Siam. Hope you have a smashing week and that Monday was good to you. "
