There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Wild carnivores and humans compared

Just want to say this,I see some people posting animals 10 to 20 feet away from the jeep or human. Pckts is a good example of that, there isn't any point of posting photos if a tiger is 10-15 feet away from the vehicle. I request yall to post animals that are no further than 2-3 feet from a vehicle. Because I could make a 7 month old cub look huge if the camera is really close to it and the cub is 15 feet from the vehicle. No hate just my take on this.

Your last post is an example of that too. Is there any way to determine the distance from the jeep especially with that kind of angle? No

Also the fact that wildlife rarely comes that close to humans and vehicles.

What are you on about??the one is posted if you have common sense you know the lion wasn't more than 3 feet away. While in someone like pckts's posts tigers are 15 feet away from the jeep. You really do need your eyes checked. Plus I've seen more lions close to the jeeps than tigers in this thread for sure.

If you actually think BDM was more than 3 feet away from the vehicle you ain't that smart, also I know you really love tigers and am not attacking tigers am just saying if you dont find images of tigers within 3 feet of the vehicle then what's the point of posting it?? This whole thread is about animals and humans comparison in size.

Animals close to jeeps and vehicles aren't posted here. There are separate threads for that.

And common sense doesn't define how angles work. Try and think about it.

Don’t be a hypocrite, first off you have no idea how far that Lion and Jeep are from one another and 2nd is the fact that the Lion is standing on higher ground than the jeep. This is easily seen by noticing the tires starting much lower than the Lions feet. So instead of making excuses, just post the image and move on. It’s the wild, animals don’t know you’re trying to compare their size so we just take what we can get.

Scar mbiri's lil bro in size. Shaka is actually said to be slightly older than scar, imagine Scar next to that vehicle considering how big scar looks next to shaka.

This i believe is Nsemani mbiri, older brother of both shaka and scar mbiri. All sons of matimbas. Shaka is said to be tallest or at least taller than scar. But the overall biggest is nsemani or scar zigzag.
