I'd don't think that's a Kazi tiger, I'd guess it's a captive cat or from another location. But tfs either way.

I think his typical head is a good indicator that he is from Assam, kaziranga or not i cannot say

I can't look up the image since it's just to your photobucket.
But if you look up "kaziranga tiger" on google you will find kaziranga tigers, yes, but you will find many other tigers as well

I think it is better we start a new thread named "Assam tigers." Other tiger reserves of assam have tigers equally or more impressive.

I thought it was a young specimen after seeing the small head of the tiger. But thanks i will see into it but i have to say her size is impressive.

Assam tigers include the tigers from Kaziranga, Orang, Manas, Nameri and Pobitora wild life sanctuaries. But there are no tigers in pobitora and there is a special section for kaziranga tigers. So, this thread may include tigers from Manas, Orang and Nameri. In some cases, Pakke too as it is contagious to the Nameri National Park. Some tigers from Pakke may be roaming in Nameri sometimes. Even manas is contagious with royal manas national park in bhutan. They may be classified as both assam tigers or bhutan tigers, but they are same subspecies(Bengal tigers).

Usually I would absolutely agree but there is something special about kaziranga Tigers, same as ngorogoro Lions. I think the unique prey and habitat only found in kaziranga contributes to a unique cat.

But to be fair, I don't know how the rest of Assam compares, in terms of prey and habitat.

I think they are same, in terms of habitat, prey.. I cannot say. Kaziranga has highest prey density in India, probably. But size of tigers seem to be the same. They rival each other as far as judging from camera trap pictures is concerned.
