There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The year was 2014... Chhota Munna was still young, not having faced large preys in absence of his siblings or mother.

He had been stalking a huge old male gaur for quite a few minutes, who in all his insolence, had his guard down. Although, the young-adult tiger managed to get within striking range (±25 metres for gaurs, where the tiger can get his claws on him before it could turn & counter) he couldn't garner enough courage to make the dash.

Eventually, the gaur smelt him & chased him away...

Luckily the sloth bear detects the tiger and chases it off.
Super encounter.

Incredible how the much smaller Sloth Bear confronted and chased a big male Tiger.
