There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

How one fine 'normal' morning safari in Bandhavgarh turned out to be 'The' safari of our life. What started with sighting of a male Tiger resting in far away bushes and hoping for some close up shots ended up with him stalking, hunting and then dragging a huge male Sambar deer in front of our eyes.
Bandhavgarh April 2011.
Canon 40D and Canon 100-400.
Aperture mode, ISO 400, F5.6

Tiger on the Bluebull kill. Here's the picture, more than 15 years old (Apr. 1998, to be exact), taken during film era, when Mohini and her cubs brought down a Bluebull, that was size of a horse.
