When the tiger fell from the tree, not landing on his feet, he appeared to have a bruised ego; embarrassed.

"TIGERS REVENGE"

Many of us has seen video of Sharmilee climbing on tree to catch langur on 9th May 2016 with langur narrowly escaped from Sharmilees jaws. But story doesn't ends here. Next day(10th May) when we were doing afternoon safari, death was waiting for that langur. Tigress Sharmilee taken revenge from teasing monkey within 24hrs. Ours was the only gypsy to witness such a moment in the wild at that moment. Shooting conditions were extremely difficult as sequence lasted only for 7 seconds.

Pckts,

That's Chota Charger (sibling of Chotu), one of the sub-adult males from Collarwali's previous litter (sired by Raiyyakassa Male).

Attaching herewith a photo from the same sighting (as in the video shared by you) as well as a Left-flank for ready reference.

It was our last drive in Bandhavgarh. We were lucky to see this gorgeous tigress sitting at the edge of a grassland near Sehra. She looked to be on a mission as she started walking across the meadow and was well hidden in the grass only to be seen by a few gypsies who had binoculars. She remained in the same position for almost an hour. There was a herd of Chital who walked very close to her but they could sense her and sounded the alarm as they ran. We thought, she had no chance as the entire herd was now aware of the predator lurking in the grass. However, there were a few Chital who were behind the tigress and probably didn't sense her presence due to the wind direction. The tigress charged at them at lightning speed and killed a young Chital in front of all the onlookers. Patience paid off for her as well as us!! She then walked across the road proudly carrying her well earned catch. Couldn't have asked for a better finish to our Bandhavgarh trip..! :)

She emerged.. she stalked.. she actually made a kill next to my vehicle.. she dragged the kill from this side to the other side of the mighty Ramganga river and disappeared. Wow.. still high with all the blessed moments.
