He prob run away, doubt they could kill both Skorro Jr. and lionesses, altough its unknown.

Oh man, there’s nothing like being alive to see the light of another day. Hell with the pride and hell with the territory.  Must have given a slip.

The boy provided some great images in recent times, hope he lives on and so does his girl and subadults.

Exactly what I was thinking, especially given his recent extended walk-about. They are but two males, and I do not see either of them killing Skorro Jr alone, and if they were both working on him, it leaves nobody to attack the lionesses.

From what I understand, Skorro was last seen on the 5th. While Jr's mom was last seen around the 13th. Which suggests the two disappearances are not related and they did not kill both in the same fight.

Earlier he began to visit the Ximhungwe pride again. It may be that that it was indeed the suicidal move we feared it was.
I dont think Skorro would stand a chance against Nhenha and Nym together.

5th was last day Skorro seen with the Pride.   He was seen w Ximunghwe the next day (per Diff Marimane post) but I cannot find any evidence of further sightings being that day.

Lets wait and see, last time people where also saying that he was killed, and then he popped in Manyeleti after few weeks.

I really doubt he would fight 2 males, especially as he was behaving nomadic recently,  just following Othawas for easy food.

He just prob run away immiditately when he heard or seen 2 males near, leaving lionesses to defend the cubs, which is only option for him, as he would have the same fate as 2 old females.

True. I am just saying that rhere is room in the Timeline for him to be taken out without Nym and Nhenha having to fight a lioness at the same time.

Any option that explains the lack of sightings are still on the table.

Yea, but its not that easy to catch a male who will not fight yet run away,  unless they sneak on him to few meters, which is hard to do unless he is sleeping or something.

I think its more likely he again left the area.

He might pop out in the pride from time to time making two older lionesses and Sassy thought they were still under protection. How sad! May Sassy and the cubs stay safe!

That's the thinnest I've seen him, be interested to know when it was taken as well.

Not long before his recent walk about, if memory serves. Perhaps he was under tremendous pressure at that point, or perhaps it is just the angle of the picture and the position he's laying in that is showing his spine and ribs. He didn't look that thin when he was seen in Manyeleti, which would have been after this picture.

Just goes to show that in a duo coalition dominant over a pride even if 1 male is sickly and not in the best condition its enough that he is just around to keep away another duo coalition. As soon as Limper passed all hell broke loose over there for Othawa Pride and Jr. Jr, if still alive, and I think he is, would be smart to link up with any of the nomadic males and for a coalition.

When that male roars yes,  but even before Limper passed away,  NK/Nhenha and PC males where invading, as Limper was in bad state and just following Othawas for food.

In that health state, with or without Limper, outcome would be the same.
