There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@Rishi

Very good pictures of two big Green Anacondas in El Pantanal (Brazil), it is the only place in the world where you can see them in small cristal clear water channels where you can find them.

Best time of the year to spot Green Anacondas in the Venezuelan Llanos is during the extreme dry season that goes from January to April before the rainy season starts in May.

I think it is your Images ? Who are these two lovely kids ?

In your last image, I can see a caiman also. Is it common to see both of them together ? And if so, who is more dominant among these 2 ?

@sanjay

Yes my Friend Sanjay I took the pictures, the kids are my nephews, after I took the picture of the big Green Anaconda it went after the small Caiman but it did not catch it  they are natural enemies, large Anacondas like the one pictured prey on even the largest Caimans that grow up to 2,50 mt long. Green Anacondas are the most dominant of the two. It is not common to see them close to each other.

Sexual dimorphism in Green Anacondas. The significantly larger animal is the female, males are very small and lean compared with the big bulky females, very few males grow over 3 meters long.
