Recently on MalaMala Game Reserve we witnessed a fascinating encounter between the Matshapiri males, the Clarendon males (Matimba) as well as one of the 6 lionesses from the Marthly Breakaway pride. Rangers Theo York, Tim van Vuuren and Pieter van Wyk talk us through the sighting. There was no fight between matimbas and mapogos

The supposed fight between Mapogos and Matimbas has been discussed in detail in the Mapogos dedicated thread. Anyway, you missed something: it is assumed to has taken place on June 19th 2011. 3.
