Updates has nothing to do with arrival of Tumbela males.. As far as I remember, updates from western sector where always fairly rare, this year do to Covid crisis, Savanna Lodge did vlog every few days, so updates where regular.. But after they stop, updates are back to normal rate.
We just recently have sightings of Othawa male and Mhangenis, and Tumbelas with Othawa female.. Nothing from Othawa pride and HB, so i assume they are together as they where on latest report which was around week ago..
We would like to have daily basis updates, but thats not gona happen..

I feel so sad knowing this guy has either passed on or will soon do so. I had hoped he'd hang on for another year or two. But, in SS, where they don't touch the lions for anything in terms of 'help', it's almost unheard of to live as long as he. The wear and tear of many battles and injuries from lots of competitive lions over the years does catch up eventually.
It's sad...but at least not tragic! Junior dying in his prime was tragic. I'm still wondering if some Mbiri Pride members are confirmed to be pregnant with unlucky cubs.

Agree, passing of old legendary lions is very sad, but its not tragic as death of prime/younger lions like Junior and many more who died under 10 yrs of age, its more devastating because those lions still had a few good years in them..

That's the circle of life. HB has live extremely free and well.
It's so sad when lions die on their prime age as Junior of the Nkuhuma pride did. Although, could be interesting has need blood in the Western sector.
