Earlier this week, the Sand River Pride took down a giraffe at Lion Sands, Kruger National Park! With plenty of meat to go around the pride fed, alongside their cubs and dominant males, for several days.

This is one of the Mantimahle Males in the Kruger National Park. He is alot bigger and darker than his brothers, who all have blonde manes. They were fathered by the 2 Mazithi Males who were also apparently very impressive...
He was busy mating so hopefully in future his really strong genetics will be seen in his offspring... Share and Enjoy."
I read somewhere in this thread that the fathers of the Mantimahles are the old mazithis, and that the old mazitihis are half brothers of the old skybeds (by the same fathers?).
That means that father(s) of the old skysbeds and the old mazithis are ancestor of:
The Mantimahles
The Mazithis
The Skybeds
The Matimbas
Very hard to say. Information on these old coalitions is hard to find and even harder to confirm, the fathers of the old skybeds must have died before the 2000s even began. I will try to find something if I can.

This big boy is one of the Mantimahle brothers. There are 5 brothers in the coalition. We often find them lying on the road enjoying the warmth that the road offers.
