LIONS! LIONS! LIONS!
An incredible morning on Kirkmans today as we woke up to lions roaring in the east. With some amazing teamwork and enthusiam from all of our guests and guides we were able to track down three members of theMantimahle coalition which were on a mission chasing another four unknown male lions around the eastern bank of the Sand River.

With the Sand River pride in the same area, will this mean a Pride takeover? Exciting times ahead as only time will tell what will happen!

Jaja your english is fine.

And it's true, they are an exception, I wonder what exactly prompted them to join forces.

From Latest Sightings
If you're in the south of Satara area any time soon, have a look out for these 2 magnificent Lions. :)
They were spotted on the S126 recently.

Also, check out our app to see if they have been seen in the area.

Finally, all 5 Mantimahle males officially enter in Sabi Sand, and not with the intention of playing, but probably to conquer new territories. They are very big. Is not good for males in this area, first for the Charleston males. Credits to Eckson Sithole.

Danger is on the way to Sabi Sands. Mantimahle male lions again on Kirkman's Kamp and this time all 5.... Stay Safe Charlestons Boys...

14 feb 2017

Guest were treated this morning to some of the largest male lions Kruger has to offer. In fact 5 of them!
Over the last few months the Mantimahle Male Lions have been moving deeper and deeper into Kirkman's Kamp. One can only assume while they are increasing the size of their territory they are also in the search for some females.
With a couple of buffalo bulls not far from where we left them, guests a could be in for an interesting evening.
