There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I think they were expelled by the Northern Matimba males, following a takeover.

The fathers of the Birmingham males were three males also called Birmingham males( to differentiate, just think of them as Old Birmingham males). They were said to be huge males, and in fact one of them was weighed when collared and said to be in a range of 250-270 kg, although it is not clear if this was the actual weight or an estimation.

The last of the Birmingham males used to hang out with the Mabande male (see info of Mabande in the Lions of Timbavati thread) but he was killed by poachers (he was already quite old though).
