saddened to report that the youngest litter is now down to a single cub Sad

I believe the cubs died from mal-nutition as they had been seen frail and skinny in recent sightings

Oh, that's very sad... How do you know?

The last report of Sabi Sabi said they needed an urgent meal, they had already looked skinny from some time  Disappointed

So there’s a very strange sighting today supposedly of the youngest Msuthlu litter with one of the Gijimas that was somehow left alone and found by the Styx Pride. Miracle 1 is that the Styx did no harm. Miracle 2 is the Msuthlu females eventually came back to the cubs. Miracle 3 is, it seems earlier reports of two of these cubs dying are likely not true. I guess it’s good results all the way around even though it’s a bit concerning how it Happened to begin with

If the Styx had found the cubs by themselves chances would be huge that they'd have killed them.

Not all Styx females were there, right? If so the females probably thought these were new cubs from their sisters with the Gijima.

Very lucky cubs.

I did wonder about their disappearance, the last update I seen after them being very skinny was them on the giraffe kill and being in perfect condition. I think Msuthlus should go a bit further north towards southern parts of Umkumbe, where they initially started with Gijimas, I think just like their brothers, they followed the buffalo path into Sabi Sabi and hence set up shop primarily there.

I would still say theyre not in the best condition....could be theyre going through the 'scrawny phase' and will fill out soon enough but all recent sightings ive seen is they could use more big meals.

Here’s a new sighting posted and once again only one of the small cubs is seen. He’s in very frail appearance so I don’t know what the heck to think. It’s hard to tell the timing of these videos so maybe the one w three cubs is an old sighting. Maybe this is newer or the others are in the thickets

I'm almost sure that the videos are from today, from what I could see on instagram histories of other people.

Anyway, younger cubs will have very hard time with so many older brothers.
