There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

'The Styx Pride was found huddled up early in the morning. Once the sun warmed the pride up, it was playtime. One of the cubs found a stick & started a game of chase, even mom got involved. They then heard buffalo in the distance and made a beeline in the direction of the buffalo'

'adult female from the Styx pride gets audio of another female that’s been away for a day or so. The bond between these females is a joy to witness.'

' A mighty coalition is loading the young Styx males are growing everyday not only physically but in confidence too. Some difficult years lay ahead but could they be the next big dominant coalition ? Time will tell and I look forward to watching it all unfold.'

Yeah.  Right now they’re only accounting for two lionesses (the RC daughter has been missing for weeks) and 9 cubs.  There’s a sub male that hasn’t been seen since altercation. Sad

I’m hearing some troubling rumors about the Styx.

I need to dig deeper but there’s conversations circulating about a possible conflict with the Gijima Males.

They fear there’s been several casualties.   I’m hearing very dim outlook about several cubs now missing.

I wish I knew more ATM still trying to get more evidence and verifications

Concerning.

Since Ndhzengas expanded north, vacant their former territory, which Gijimas took, and starting to hang less with Styx's (at this point they prob fully abandon them, as we saw, they even attack them with Kambulas) we knew that this might cause troubles for Styx's and potential " 2018 Bboys scenario" which was catastrophe in the end, as only 1 female reached adulthood.

They where doing good until recently, but looks like they are now feeling more pressure and are squished between Gijimas and Kambulas, who have support of Ndhzengas over them.

Is RC female seen? When was the last sighting of her?

The RC Daughter has not been seen in three weeks.

I spoke w a guide that’s currently on leave and he said that before he left it had been two weeks and before that she was looking rough.
