There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

This does show the very massive 9+ tonne nature of some carcharodontosaurids quite well! Although, the Spinosaurus isn't the biggest specimen.

Two handsome big boys from one zoo in the USA... anyone willing to try their luck to guess which one is bigger and how much? Wink

If someone recognizes these lions, don´t spoil right away.

I think the bigger one is the left one since the right one seems to have a huge and thick lion hair but the left one looks more masculine and wide

Those are not from the US. That’s Aslan and Aragon from Norway. So the left one is much bigger.

I know it perfectly well and that´s why I wrote that not telling if recognizing. There is no point to ask questions and test a bit how good people are to estimate from photos if people can use google to search answers Wink But that wasn´t best possible photo anyway, so no big deal. Some better photo next time. Point of this was it, that many times there are animals in photos with nothing to compare and still people put there texts like "massive" and "huge" even though it´s very difficult to say from a photo which individual really is huge and which is average.

Naturally easy to answer when knowing/recognizing individuals. That´s why I took off a lot of background to make it impossible to use image search with google, I was pretty sure that you and @Hello at least notice which lions and maybe some others too like @Pckts. Well, next time I put something else more difficult and see if someone dares to try to make an estimation, when not knowing which individual.
