There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I have no idea why the signature picture is disabled. Please restore the feature. I think it is a bad idea. Hope you guys change your opinion.

@parvez,
We took this decision, becasue it was creating some issues:
1. It was making the thread page extra long (so it was lot of scroll on small device to reach last post)
2. Due to presence of repetitive same image on posts the page loading time has increased this make problem for people who are using slow internet connection.
3. The readability of post has messed due to unrelated images in a post.

Hope you understand

@sanjay But the problem did not arise in the past when almost every user had signature picture. Is this the first time animal forum has kept this kind of rule?

This is becasue most of forum owner has no control over this and many of them are not able to see this problem on its own.
We have analyze these issues and then concluded it.

If majority of community members wants that image is compulsory in signature we will reconsider it for sure.

I prefer the site to run smoothly, I like the image but not at the expense of the greater good (the site it self) so if it was causing issues to the site I think the removal of the signature image is the best move.

Can we get a poll started for the signature? I love them and it really shows other members what their views are.
