There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Lastnight at satara at 11pm I could hear 3 males calling, 2 from the north and one from the south.
As it got closer and closer, I finally got out of my tent and went to the day visitor sight as the roars where coming right from there, and sure enough at 12:11 pm I saw one of the brothers and Casper heading south right next to the fence, unfazed about me being 40 meters aways standing next to the little fence that isn’t even chest height. Something I will never forget.
Up at 4:30 am and the second car in line, lucky to be the first car down the S100, not even 4 ks we found the 4 shishagaan males with the central pride. Been a while since I’ve seen all four males back up near satara and away from nsemani dam. (Saturday the 29th we had Casper mating on the S40 )

Life's hard among the lions, included the only one adult white lion in wild... Casper seems always serene.
" Watch Casper The White Lion with battle scars all over his face and body! Whether it was caused by grumpy Lionesses or during arguments with his Brothers over mating right or even fights with other Lion Coalitions we will never know? Casper is eight years old going on nine by June 2023 and lets just hope he will survive the harsh wilderness to a ripe old age for another four or five years! Filmed on the H7 just west of Satara Rest-camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa. "
Casper the white lion with all its brothers together again...
" We caught up with Casper and his three brothers: Casanova, footloose and Mfowethu resting close to the Nsemani Dam, west of Satara Rest-camp. They needed the rest after they have walked during the night all the way back from the Satara Pride to the Nsemani dam to check on their second Pride - The Nsemani Pride. You will notice that Casper is still limping and that the Brothers are all covered with 'Battle scars'. Luckily the Shish Brother Coalition seems to be strong and prosperous! "
