Rare leopard sighting in Lopé National Park, Gabon
"We were walking around La Lopé in 2014 (we were 4 friends, the driver and the guide, in a 4x4 safari), and came face to face with this panther. She was in her element... No trace of stress. She approached slowly... Sat down in front of us... As if to sit enthroned in her forest... Then approached a puddle of water to drink... And even lay down in front of us !!! This moment lasted a long time!! (5-10 mins... It seemed like an eternity to us... One of the males he posted yesterday (#279) is also posted on the previous page. They're all shared by Panthera Gabon.
