It'll be even better if he hunts down a few hyenas and takes them out.

I doubt they will survive. PC males are on the way to kill them all.

I said it after Sasy was left with 5 cubs, that she would have no chance to protect them.

I have nothing against Hyenas. They are pretty cool and adorable animals that do their part in nature.
Lion King really did them dirty. So no need to wish death on them.

The PC males are not actively hunting down the Othawas like the Birminghams were. So if they stay far enough to the west and don't run into them accidentally, they will likely be fine. The Ximhungwe pride may have a problem now though.

Dont think so, Ximhungwe and Gingerella doesnt have cubs and are open for mating (Ximhungwe doesnt look pregnant) , there is no reason for PC to harm them.

@Duco Ndona  thank you for pointing out valid points regarding hate towards hyenas and the PC Males "Hunting down" the othawas.

@Tr1x24  i thought Ximhungwe was confirmed to be heavily pregnant with Nhenha/Nk males cubs.

There has been serious mating for a while now. Even if she isn't looking pregnant now, she may still be to early in pregnancy. Its also unclear how much she mated with Skorro. So there is a chance that he would accept the cubs as his own.

Either way, they are a border pride now. Skorro will likely reclaim the pride soon. But he likely wont be able to secure enough territory for both prides to live in. Putting the pride at risk of PCmale intrusions.

On this pic, Gingerella is also full bellied, they obiviously eaten.

Even before recent mating with Nhenha and NK, she was mating more then half a year with Tumbelas, and didn't got pregnant..

She might be in early stages, but yea.

Great write up, and very sad that we have ended up here. If history teaches us anything, it is that we can never give up on these fascinating creatures, the lions, they seem often to simply find a way.

Ok so the remaining 3 female cubs are not all of Sassy's as we previously thought.
2 from Sassy & 1 from Junior's Mother.
1 cub is much smaller than the other two. So that must be Jr's Mom's girl. 2 Month age difference (March & May)

Has Skorro Jr. joined the pride or still looking for them?
