There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

“ One of the 2 Othawa sub-adults upsetting the odds as they leave a turbulent 2022 behind.

Let's hope they have a better 2023.”

Considering how they've survived until now and the fact they seem to be able to hunt on the regular, could it be said they are indeed totally independent despite their age or is it just lucky that's feeding them?

It they are indeed independent it's even sadder since it means they'd have good chances of making it if not for other lions around killing them. But avoiding all other lions and dangers for 2 more years until they can mate it's beyond hard, they'll need a big miracle.

2 adult females alone already have a tough task rebuilding a pride, never mind 2 subadults that aren't even 2yo.
