Ya know what sucks, Olopi was seen a few weeks ago in the Reserve, alone, without his partner and far away from original Maji Ya Fisi pride. So again it seems he lost his partner and pride. Not sure if he has been seen after but bad luck for him. Hope he pops up again.

Like Lipstick2 said, Spearboy has not been seen since, If i remember correctly, March or April 2023. He has always disappeared for 6 months or so to pop back up so well see. Last time he was seen he wasn't in the best shape. Kutiti has been seen a lot without him too. So its almost time to start wondering if he might be gone.
Also, Kaka, brother of Maridadi, the argument could be made that N2 might have sired him and not 4KM boys. Do I believe that, not sure but we can't say 100% either way. Kaka had not been seen in a while either but if he was indeed sired by N2 then he was 1 of the last sons too.

Yes, i also have heard that they had some confrontations at this time around 2010. This would not be surprising as they were close and both coalitions claimed almost the same territories and prides from each other for a short time in the northern Triangle. Then the Notches left the area following the pride which later became Rekero, thus the 4'km males could acquire the Mugoro pride from the Notches (killing the cubs sired by them). And it wouldn't be surprising from that point of view either they were two very strong and large coalitions, although the Notches still kept the numbers advantage even after Long's death as 5 males. Btw the 4'km also lost its first brother at this time (known as the 4th) so the Notches might have had something to do with his death/demise.
"Also, Kaka, brother of Maridadi, the argument could be made that N2 might have sired him and not 4KM boys."
No, Kaka was born into the Paradise pride in mid 2012, when the 4'km males took over the pride right before that, so he was sired by them that's for sure. The Notches have had nothing to do with the pride then, maybe only before that. The only question is that which 4'km brother was his father (my bet is on that could be either Blackie or the 3rd male, but the first is more possible).
Furthermore, Kaka has never showed any resemblances to Notch2 i think

I agree, Kaka resembles a younger Blackie for sure IMHO, but If I am not mistaken, N2 was documented mating with Paradise girls around that time. Thats why I say that but I am in no way saying he IS sored by him, just pointing out it could be a possibility. Sometimes lions take on the females looks more than the sire so they end up not lookinlooking like their fathers. Who knows.
Can anyone give me the list of prides which the Notches sired offsprings in? Also how many in each reaches adulthood. I only know of the Rekero boys and Spearboy. I am sure there must be more. Also if it is known how many daughters the Notches have in each pride?

They are not scientists and not qualified enough to know who's or what's bigger. this is a cult we've been following for the longest time and it's time to put an end to all of this rubbish. Yes, there are some exceptions when something is clearly bigger than all the others. this statement is true for Wagdoh in all of Central India (probably) and maybe even Jai of Umred (Central India) others, not so much. back on topic now, Caesar is a huge male ! Im not gonna lie, Im impressed by his phsique. TFS
Very true. People like guides and photographers are of no use when it comes to determining size of animals and most people's knowledge are based on google facts. Only a scientist with sufficient data can know for sure. Only thing what they are good at is what they do, i.e Photographer = photography, guide = spotting animals
Guides are more salesman than scientists while on a drive. Especially if it comes to their online presence.
They have a safari to sell and people like to hear they saw the biggest, strongest and coolest animals. So they tell the people what they want to hear, even if they themselves know the lions in front of them are just the weak runts of the reserve.
Offcource if asked, they would gladly share how they truly feel a lion ranks in the size department.
Its not like they are out to scam people. They are just aware that the average guest does not care about this kind of stuff and only rarely run into one that is actually interested in the animals themselves beyond pointing excitingly at a leopard and yelling something about how much the cheetah looks like Simba at home.
So a random comment that a lion is big should be taken with a grain of salt and not as a official ranking.

Memories of the last 2 Notch Boys: Caesar and Notch2 in 2016 or 2017 when the Mara still was the home of these Titans!
Giant Caesar tried to approach and stay in the company of his brother who was right on honeymoon probably with one of their Lookout pride lionesses, but Notch2 didn't tolerate him and made a serious warning attack towards his brother not to come closer.
Although Caesar was not a threat to him as he lost one of his testicles in a fight around 2010 - which then caused his body to grow prodigiously huge, as it was supposed - so he couldn't mate from then. This is why he hadn't have any descendants from their countless prides through their reign - except Caesar2 most probably, as the 5 Rekero males were sired in 2010 even before his accident.
Not much after this sighting, Caesar sadly died in August 2017.
This also showed the dominance between the Notches: Notch2 was always the permanent dominant brother among them. Although Caesar was obviously bigger than him, but he was the most mature brother (borned in January 2005) and also had the largest mane among them.
He was the first and probably the only one who even challenged their father, the mighty large black maned Notch himself too. This could be the reason why Notch was alone a while later a lot rather than with his own sons in his last few years as he probably lost his dominant status by then.
And also why Grimace probably left them many time, who couldn't stand to being dominated and instead went alone to get his own lionesses. Which later also meant the ending for him..
This is the script of how a once large and unbeatable coalition start to decline...
Enesikiria boy Lerai recently, the most handsome of the 3 brothers as i think.

He's exactly a spitting image of the late Youngest Rekero/Dongo, who was the most impressive male among the once 5 brothers legendary coalition, look on them. Lerai
