There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Just adding some information here, it is commented by melc.in.the.wild that NK Young Male keeps getting chased off but always find the females, in this sighting he was with 4 of the females.
Also the 5 Nkuhumas were on a hippo kill two days ago when Mantimahle Sons chased them off the kill, I would assume the location is on Torchwood as it is the last place Nkuhumas is sighted.
Hello everyone, university has me really tired and cant really remember who is the mother of Nkuhuma youngest male, is it Pale Eyes, if so he isnt grandson of the Matimbas right?

Agreed, he's had that bulky tank like frame since he was a little tot, before he even started getting his mane, and his mane started filling in at quite a young age as well. Awesome genetics!

Having those Matimba and PCM genes they really are big, it also seems that the female is a big one.

He is with his sister and a big male lion. He just does not seem he would wonder on his own or bond with another lion when he is with his sister. It would be good if he could bond with young Nukhuma male lion. I do not see this young male lion bonding with another male lion. Maybe Southern Avoca male lion and Kruger male lion would meet his sister and he would then be on his own.
Some shots of the two Birmingham Nkuhuma girls from Sunset Safari 11.12.
It seems Ridge Nose's daughter (identifiable by her ragged/torn right ear) has picked up a distinct, lightning-shaped scar at the base of her neck. Making her now by far the most easily identifiable lioness in the pride.

Cedric first identified this female as Pale Eyes (which I think was correct), due to not only her pale eyes but also her coat, which is paler than the other girls. But he then became uncertain when he saw she is missing the top left canine, and thought it might be RN's daughter. But as you can see she has two 'intact' ears, meaning she's definitely not RN's daughter. Unless I've got the two mixed up in regards to the right ear.

As for the other 5 girls, personally I can't even tell the difference between the 2019 litter (Amber Eyes' daughters) and the 2021 litter (Pale Eyes/RN's Daughter/Torn Ear daughters).
