There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

So looks like all females who recently gave birth, lost the cubs and are back in estrus?

As 1 of young females where killed, there should be 5 adult females left for mating.

Can we please get the rest of the boys up there so they aren't out and exposed?  If the BDM's return, It'd be nice to at least have all 4 together.

Wasn’t it believed both Tattered Ears and one of Amber Eyes daughters were pregnant. Obviously one of them died while giving birth but I haven’t seen an update on the second one so for all we know she could still be pregnant.

Seen a post recently saying there are two Kambula males in the North rn. I believe it was K5 who had joined K4.

I've read that too, and K4 is beating up K5.  Still would like the other 2 to join, including K6 who was also beat up recently.

From recent sightings, the dead female was 1/3 Birminghams known as Taterred Ears. All other females except her have been sighted since the reports.

Yea now i remember you mentioned it already, i forget.

Apperantly 4 females where seen mating/hanging with K4, so that leaves 1 female possibly pregnant/denning, or maybe she is with subs.

In the report that was sent in the Sabi Sands thread, he was spotted with 3 lionesses on the 21st. Video I sent in a few days ago, he was spotted with atleast 2. Seems the females have no problem spending time with either K4 or Khanya.

The Big question is... Do K4 and Khanya have a problem?  I'd love to see Khanya fall in with that group, but not sure that's realistic.

Very slim chances for that at this point.

Forgive my ignorance.  Is there any chance these two could go east and reunite with the core pride?  Do they even know they have a core pride?  I don't recall when Ridge Nose split them off.

Ridge nose left the pride, before these two were even conceived, to be with the PCMs, at which time they were. These two have never known the core of the pride, they would be complete strangers, and likely hostile towards the youngsters.
