Other 2 are few months younger, born towards late 2019, while youngest is born in early 2022.
Even youngest, who is only 3 yrs old, looks around the same size as Mohawk already :

Quite impressive, although looks like Mohawk lost some muscle mass recently, and is starting to pass his prime years.
Who is the youngest mother? I know that Chela had cubs in late 2019/ early 2020 but I thought she lost them all.
Also any word on the cubs born in 2021/2022? Before Blondie died I seem to recall seeing the pride with quite a few cubs. I thought he and Mohawk had sired another 7-8 cubs with the younger Nkuhuma lionesses but since Blondie’s death, I think I seen Mohawk with the youngsters once maybe twice but haven’t seen them since. Or maybe I’m misremembering?

Thanks! So the last litter sired by the Avocas was 2021. And when reviewing your data I saw an IG post showing those youngsters on a kill with the rest of the pride last month. So not MIA after all.
Glad to see Chela’s son survived. As I thought she lost all the cubs she birthed in late 2019. I believe DM may be his father as I think he was the only N.Avoca seen mating with her in August 2019. Though it is possible Blondie and Mohawk mated with her too but were not filmed.

Yes, they are now two year sub adults. But of note, since I made this post, I have only been able to account for 5 of them….as if 1 has been missing. It’s concerning me.
