There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Nkuhlu males were born into the Nkuhlu pride that has this name due to being in Nkuhlu area.
Their fathers are the 5 Mantimahle males, same fathers of Plains Camp and Mantimahle sons, making them half brothers from fathers side.
Nature really works wonder as to how the PCM and Mantimahle Sons is regarded as big lions while the Nkhulu's most of the time are thin due to their illness or injuries.

Snip Tail Nkuhlu male #2 crossing the Sand River. His condition is clearly not fully recovered and he still looks frail and thin

Smudge surely doesn't need another brother getting slowed down by illness or injury. ST is his main partner, as he's been the only other coalition member to remain healthy.

Reminds me of that time the Nwas were eating a carcass in the water, if memory serves it was a hippo, and a croc tried to get Gore. He showed amazing reflexes, speed, and agility in that incident, equal to those of a small house cat, it really was incredible how quickly he went from being in the water, to being on top of that carcass.

While it is possible, given we do not witness these cats 24x7, that any of the Nwas could be his father, but I believe Ubuso dominated most of the mating that happened back then. He does resemble Gore, quite a bit, though.
