There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

One of the Nharhu male lions finishing off a scent marking exercise and looking all regal. Quite impressive the big territory that the three Nharhu males have conquered in just 1 year. Central Timbavati up northern Timbavati, And often they go into KNP and Klaserie.

The limping Nharhu male
Flehmen Grimace: a mammalian behavior in which the animal inhales with the mouth open and upper lip curled to facilitate exposure of the vomeronasal organ to a scent or pheromone (Merriam-Webster dictionary).

2 of the Nharhu males featured on Tanda Tula sofa safari episode N61.
As per Chad Cocking. They're becoming more and more impressive as time goes by.

The current days of endless rain have us all feeling very much the same as these two boys thanks to cyclone Eloise !!

We are none the less grateful for the rain as the bush hasn’t looked this good for at least the last 5 years !!
