There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Ouch.  Looking worse for wear.   I hope he finds the pride and settles down for some needed recovery

Its probably an old sighting, he has been looking better recently.

Such a pity. His situation is starting to look like the late Limper.

In the recent sightings he was looking in good condition. Such a drastic change within days???

This is how a lot of these injuries can go.   Especially with how ACTIVE he’s been lately.   He will have some good times, but if he overdoes it or has a slight mishap it can turn quickly.

Just this week he was seen chasing the Kambula Breakaways and the cubs.   Maybe he over-exerted  himself.

Hopefully he finds the pride and eats a few good meals to heal up

The first thing the doctor says when you screw up a leg is to take lots of rest.
Wild animals dont have the luxurity of resting. So each time he pushes it to far, it goes bust again.

His latest injury from S1 males wasn’t good. In the recent photos/videos he looked well may be because he fed himself well or better circulation with movement just before they were shot. The injury was never good, its the same. It was in the upper leg or a busted hip. There wasn’t a dramatic improvement or degradation, its the same.
