I love this forum! The info here and the members that post here are incredible! Can we get our big boy pants on and leave our hurt butts home and get back to business?!!!
As we stopped to check for tracks, we heard the call of a lion nearby which made our decision for which route to take much easier. We soon found a single set of tracks along the road ahead of us and followed them until we saw this male lion swaggering down the road ahead of us.

The amount of views in 7 years only is admittedly staggering. Most views are from visitors interested in lions. The lion section always was the best. One reason is lions are fascinating animals. Another is we have a lot of members posting good information. Last but not least, we have 3 great mods (Lycaon, BAO and Timbavati). Our guess is our former, and best ever, lion mod 'Tshokwane' would agree Wildfact, as a result of the efforts of all of you, has developed into one of the best lion sites. Every time our members post about lions, they're inviting our readers to visit the natural world. Many thousands of them use this opportunity every day. And most of them come back, because they want to know more. In the end, the quality of a site is determined by it's members. They're the ones who post information about a hidden world quickly disappearing right in front of our eyes. By posting good information about those making their home in that world, they contribute to a new outlook. One desperately needed, as we're heading in the wrong direction. Something needs to change and a forum about the natural world could be just as effective as a newspaper article or a documentary. In a way, Wildfact compares to an online magazine. Not one published once a month, but one updated every day by dozens of well-informed and able reporters. We hope all of you will continue to inform us about lions for a long time to come, Sanjay and Peter. Personally, WildFact is so full of information on the animals we all love and has proven to be ever educational for myself, I would just like to extend a public thank you to yourself and @sanjay. We just help keep the lug nuts tightened, but it is your vision, efforts, determination, and perseverence that has made the site possible. Job well done my friend! 
We tracked these two sibling lions for several kilometers. One was strong and healthy and his brother had several wounds that slowed him down. The healthy male marched forward with a purpose while his brother lagged behind. But regularily the strong one would stop and wait for his brother to catch up. Here they rested together before commencing their journey.

These two are most likely litter mates. Or at least, They were sired by the same male. They resemblance a lot each-other. Both with orange-eyes |
