Well my guess is that because of that Nwaswitshaka breakeaway happen in the first place, they where first seen in Lion Sands in late 2017 with 1 adult lioness, i think that lioness saved them from Charleston.
Didn't notice before Wide Nosed males front foot, it seems that it was broken before and healed that way. His mane is starting to grown back.
Boys are now occupied by Southern female, it will be interesting to see their future moves when female gets pregnant and born cubs, will they try to challenge Bboys or Avocas.

One of the younger N'ws males, Orange Eyed male with Southern Pride female:

As both bigger/older N'ws males mated with SP female, it seems that its turn on the younger ones, judging by the scars on his face, he need to put a quite a fight for that prize.
Its good to se SP young lioness happy, she will thrive under the protection of 4 males.

Is it alarm time for Bboys, Othawa and N. Avoca males, as this 4 young males are on their doorstep??..
Southern Pride female keep them busy for some time, but as suspected, after they are done mating with her they will try to explore more territory..
I think Othawa male might be in danger, N'ws might want to avoid 2 strong Bboys as they chased them before, and thru western Londolozi enter Singita and western Sabi Sands (route that Selatis take in 2012,they too didnt take central Londolozi and MalaMala as was controled by strong coalition )..
Othawa male was seen todays morning roaring in southwest Londolozi, as rangers said he was responding to other lions roars, its very likely those where N'ws..

Think that they will most likely to challenge the Othawa Male. N. Avocas and BBoys' experience would probably be too much for them at the moment. Their best bet would be to overwhelm the Othawa Male with their superior numbers.

Agree, Othawa male and Mhangeni pride is their best chance.
Its hard to overtake Kambula pride and 2 experience Bboys atm (in future yes, when they get stronger and Bboys too old) , Kambula pride is over 20 lions strong, that would be too much for inexperienced and still not "prime" males as N'ws, even if they get pass tru BBoys, imagen beating they'll take from 6 Kambulas defending their cubs, those lionesses are bigger then some of them atm.
While Othawa male would most likely abandon Mhangenis if they challenge him and flee, as he would prob realize that he cant win against 4 males..
Sad to say but, as it seems that N'ws will most likely push north sooner or late, Othawa male will lose his territory in the future to them, i think thats inevitable.. but thats the life of alone king..
Idk where is Styx pride atm, it would be perfect if they came into Sabi Sabi and settle there with N'ws, that would prevent N'ws pushing north and Styx would finally get their territory and protection..

With their numbers I belive they could take on BBoys if they want to. I do not understand how can you guys see BBoys as favourites in such potential confrontation.

Well, last time 4 N'ws where running for their lives vs 2 Bboys.
Atm they are still too young and undersized, but as we said in future as they put up the size and Bboys gets older ofc they can easly overtake Bboys..
For example, 3 Fourways males where bigger then current N' ws back in 2014 when they try to takeover 2 S. Matimbas, and they got easly beaten with 1 Fourways died, you could se on the video how easly Ginger handle Blondie Fourways, while HB chased the others. Fourways males then waited 1 year to become dominant in southern Sabi Sands, competing with Sand River, Charlestons and Skukuza males, when they where ready.
Numbers matter, but only if young males are strong enough and ready to fight, if the dominant males dont flee..

I agree with both, but we can only predict. for lion populition would be better if NW start with Southern pride female, Plains camp breakaway pride and Styx pride. lions sand and sabi sabi reserves.

Yeah I think that would be the best thing for all the lions in Sabi Sands. They Styx Pride really does need some males and a new territory. N'waswitshaka males would be perfect for them. Also it would give the final push for the Nkuhuma Male and Styx Male into going fully nomadic.
