Where is "Singita Clarendon" specifically, northern Singita? If so he'll be fine as PCM territory is more to the south, also they spend most of their time in the Western Sector anyway.

Is that Gore?  I saw this picture from other forum (credit unknown).  The "hanging flesh" appears falling off. Hope he has a fast recovery.

According to the author it's Gore, but I don't know if it's recent but being from londolozi it might be. Strange that the part fell off, but there could be a number of causes as long as it heals he would be in much better condition

Here is the original credit with caption for more context.   It does appear the Proud Flesh has fallen off.   The caption sounds a bit concerning but maybe it’s an overreaction?

“ And now a sad story and simply a part of the animal kingdom’s history: there were 4 dominant male lions. One died and currently of the 3 dominant males left, one was gored by a buffalo 2 years ago and stayed alive with part of his stomach hangin out. We spotted him and there is good news and bad news. The good news is the wound is slowly healing. The bad news is he hasn’t been able to hunt and lives off of the kills made by the female lions, which he shared with several other lions. He isn’t getting as much food as he needs and he is thin for a lion. We could see the outline of his ribs. You can see his wound in this photo”

Yeah I saw that yesterday. He looks in similar condition he's always in. Hope he's ok. Hope his bum hip doesn't get the better of him.  Wasnt he just with both his brothers chasing some intruders rescently? And I've seen video of Gore fighting for food with his brothers so I have doubts about him not getting a meal.

Gore always had skinny periods, because of his injury he never was able to put up mass like his 2 healthy brothers and obiviously when he misses few meals, he looks skinny.

As for that part falling off, strange, not sure how would fall off by itself, isnt it more likely to be bited off?? To me it looks like that happened.

Prob a good news tho, if it can heal like this.

In larger groups, there is always that one lion that is the weakest and thus gets the least amount of food. So him looking skinny is normal. Its probably also why he was Solo for a while when they still had 3 prides.

As for his weird flesh thingy. If it was a piece of bowel that got severed it would be looking a lot worse right now.
So it was just proud flesh. Most likely something disrupted the bloodflow to it and it just fell off.

Still it is a rather big wound of a type that doesnt heal easily. So he should make sure it stays clean to avoid infections.

Yea, now we see it was not intestine.

The rangers had said that it would most likely fall off in due time.   I think their assessment was shared here last year sometime.
