There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Male 1 in the second picture looks absolutely enormous, long legs and overall great proportions. Excellent find.

Camera trap photos of 3 different leopards in the same spot in Gabon (western Congo Basin). The first is a female with cubs and therefore should be adult, the second is most probably an adult male judging by the overall appearance and dewlap, and the third must also be an adult male judging by his sheer size. It's interesting to note the variation here, the male in the middle appears considerably bigger than the female. But the male on the right looks even bigger. Also note the difference in rosettes between the two males.

Am mostly impressed by the muscles on both male leopards even tho there are weight differences between both males.

All are different distances and angles from the camera traps.  The last male is much closer to the camera with a different body position, its going to be hard to determine a size difference without similar positions.

The mighty Colombiano male, Onças do Rio assumed him to be the closest male jaguar to 150 kg they've ever seen.

He is still the most impressive male from South Pantanal I've seen followed by Alexandre male who is also very impressive and takes the second place for me.

''Stocky'' is an understatement for this Tank.
