Giraffe male at Thornybush. Can the good times last forever? 9 years old and the King of the Blackdam pride. Never had a male companion, never had a famous battle, his brothers all left him when he was a subadult, he used to hang out with his white Giraffe sisters. Now he's holding down all of Thornybush on his own, and he's wondering can it last?

The youngsters from the Blackdam Pride are at an age now where they’re becoming a valued part of the hunting outfit. This young female was testing her stalking skills on a family of warthogs as the rest of the pride was resting nearby.

One of the two River pride males at Klaserie. Just to clear some confusions, this male and his brother are the original River pride males. They took over River pride last year and has now cubs with them.

At present it seems there is another pride in Klaserie which was also called River pride that was dominated by the young 3 Nharhu/River pride boys.

One of the two original River pride males letting everyone knows who is the boss at Klaserie.
"When distant calls turn into echoing thunder and instant goose bumps ... With a not so gentle reminder of who's territory this is, our guests on yesterday evening's safari were welcomed to the Klaserie wilderness by this dynamic display of character. The booming, territorial lion calls vibrated right through your core. What a magical and primal sound and what an experience in the wild..."

I read one of the young boys is carrying an injury, though not sure about the source or extent.
