There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I heard that Timbavati has granted a new license to allow Trophy Hunting.
This could be detrimental for the Lions there, including the newly arrived Matimbas, Hairy Belly and Ginger.
Please check and confirm this info

Safari Update The afternoon of the 18th started off with a bang when the Mbiri lion pride with all of the 7 cubs and their father Scorro was found on lumpfaan cruising down the road, stopping every now and then for a quick nap. The Nharhu pride was also relocated on madach open clearing sleeping next to a small pan. The rest of the afternoon was filled with lots of general game and Elephant. The morning of the 19th, was fairly quiet with only the 2 Thanda Impi males found close to main dam on Piva path. On the afternoon safari, spirits were raised when a old Matimba male and the Mothlawareng pride was found up in the North on a Zebra kill close to Civet rd, The Nharhu pride made their way back all the way towards Voet rd close to Wild dog dam! The following morning, one Wild dog was found
