There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Wow. What an impressive young male. At just 3 years old he made his own kill and fended off a large number of hyenas! He has Trilogy genes. I hope they survive and also strive so they can one day rule their own territory.
Seeing as they are 3 of these young Monwanas... i call them the Thornybush Trilogy or monwana trilogy.
Update: Mbiri males this afternoon at Ngala. The smaller-maned Mbiri male was sighted roaring.
The two Black dam young males are still on Shindzela Tented Camp, looking in excellent condition.

Do you know if Black Dam pride is still split into two (with Giraffe male daughters + one older lionesses making one part and the females which moved to Sandriham with Giraffe male making other part) or if they reunited into single pride?

First sets of cubs from that generation of Mbiri pride were born in either in November or December 2016 and other sets soon after. Mbiri females were not even mating yet in early 2016.
