There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Hmmm, But history says big coalitions tend to split. (Mapogos, Matimbas)

Not all do look at the majingilanes, Birminghams, mantimanles, mohalebetsi males and more. So not all do.

We mostly see coalitions split when the hierarchy within a coalition is not well defined.

Today's Game Drive highlight comes thanks to the Mhangeni Super Pride that has been in our area of late.

During a stop at a Dam, the 17 member pride along with Majingilane coalition members Dark Mane and Golden Mane, took time to rest after feeding last night.

2 sub-adult members however took it upon themselves to entertain each other, as well as ourselves. It did not end well for one of the sub males as he went for a dip in the dam, thanks to being nudged in by his sibling. A proper addition to our #DuliniMoments!

This morning's game drive was highlighted by the Mhangeni pride once again. This time, we were fortunate to observe them as they feasted on a Cape Buffalo that was successfully hunted the previous night. In fact, they had taken 2 Buffalo in the over night hours.
After all, when there are 17 mouths to feed in the pride, as well as Dark Mane and Golden Mane of the Majingilane coalition who are also with the pride, it takes quite a bit of effort!
