So happy that Wonky finally found partners, on top of that they are prob from the same pride, as Wonkey prob comes from Imbalis aswell. Will be interesting to see dynamics with them in the area, Wonkey might look underdevelop a bit, but he is around 5, other 2 are around 4. "The Imbali male lion and three young males feeding on a Cape buffalo kill at Vrystaat Clearing." Is this recent report reffering to them with S8?

What I think was the Torchwoods on Nkorho last night, they were seen on October 2nd as well. No sign of the Kruger male, and it seems the male with the badly healed broken leg was left behind in the Mluwati concession. Five members present, 4 females 1 male.

Both Ndzengas/N'waswitshakas, Kambula lionesses and cubs. Think the first lioness with the three cubs might be one of the original lionesses that is kind of forming a breakaway (K2 or K3)? Or is she the original lioness that's part of the core pride (K5)?

It's possible Mr Broken leg was with them last night and the cam just didn't capture him. I'm guessing this is now the composition of the Core Torchwood Pride. 4 females 2 males. I think we have enough threads atm. 
Personally I never saw the point of those anyway.
I mean, why is it the Avoca lineage and not the lineage of whoever fathered the Avocas? And if some of those sons become a coalition of note, will they have their own lineage thread or will they all be lumped in the Avoca one? I think it makes more sense to just name them X pride male offspring or X coalition male offspring. Until they become noteworthy enough to warant their own thread. With perhaps a family tree thread for those that want to keep up with how the prides genetically intermingle with eachother over the years. Having a clear organisation of where information can be found is probably more important than keeping the amount of threads below X. Still, such a thread may be usefull now for the Avocas as several of their sons have completely broken ties with their native prive. |
