Would be pretty great if he and the Floppy Ear Styx could become nomadic brothers.

He is quite older then Styx, so not sure if that would work at this stage (he killed his sister not long ago), Styx is still a young sub, while this guy will be looking for territory soon.

It was mentioned in the last video about Dreadlock's recovery, how the S. Avocas have not been seen at all since the attack.  I thought that was noteworthy.  Are they usually seen more often?  I know there are some knee-jerk reactions by lion fans regarding the death of lions, their supposed fatal injuries, etc....so we should give it a bit more time.  However, if they are usually seen in certain areas they go missing in, that might be a warning.  I hope they weren't caught by other lions or worse yet, poached. (Would be hard to take only one out since the two are almost always together!) I'm sure there are poachers scrolling through the lion pride groups on FB and here from time to time, let's hope that the rangers/guides/anti-poaching units are vigilant in the most dangerous areas and especially around well-known coalitions.  There were WAY too many lions that have gone missing in the past few years not too far from where the S. Avocas have their prides....

And now Tank hasn't been seen in a few weeks.  Let's hope all 3 very well-known lions with prides are safe.

Hahaha lmao. The way Tr1x24 worded it could be taken as such that styx killed his own sister. If I didnt know that pcym and his own sister had something to do with styx's boy sister then i would have say the samething as Ttimemarti.

At least now we're all on the same page. Pcym killed styx's boy sister. Done and done

1/2 Talamati male seen with 1/2 Ximhungwe. Since the death of the limping Tumbela more than a year ago, the Western Sector of the reserve has not seen any stability.

Singita Sabi Sands update

The Mhangene Pride, five lionesses and nine youngsters, have been the go-to lions for the past while. Up until very recently have they ventured into the western sector with the cubs in tow. The cubs are still all very healthy and energetic little lions, they continue to spoil us with some incredible sightings. The five lionesses caught a buffalo bull at the beginning of the month and they went and fetched all nine cubs taking them back to the kill. One of the Plains Camp male lions (fathers to the cubs) was a bit slow to the buffalo, but was seen with cubs one morning. He was very tolerant of the little ones’ energy until it became too much and he moved off.
