Gotta say, it's scary knowing Hosana shares territory with these two. Hope they don't catch him one day, I doubt he'll be able to get away

Are these the plains camp males?

No, Hosana is leopard whose territory overlaps that of PC boys

A male leopard? They usually manage to keep away from lions.

Yeah they typically fare better than the Hyenas do atleast.

When the Southern Avocas came to the Sabi Sands they killed two well-known and followed Leopards, the Piva male and the Xidulu female. The Xidulu female was old but the Piva male was in his prime

Leo a few years ago I saw something on a news report about a zoo and there was a quick glimpse of a male lion with a huge mane. It was quite large so I decided to google how big are male lions. Some of the search results listed your Mapogo videos. I knew nothing about Mapogos, lions or there behaviour at the time. I started watching them and then developed a huge interest in Mapogos and watched everything and also reading what ever info I could find. I learnt so much about lions and their behaviour from this and started watching other videos about lions outside of Sabi Sands and subscribing to other youtube channels that had safari guides driving around and filming lions and everything else, reading blogs and following lion channels on instragram. Eventually I also found this site and although a lurker and don't post much I'm always reading various topics on this site and enjoy the discussions from the knowledgeable members on here. I'm hoping to travel to sabi sands next year as well. Thanks for the videos and all the information you provide. I would never have found this site or develop an interest in lions and African wildlife if I didn't start watching your Mapogo videos :)

Update: The two missing Othawa cubs are accounted for:

"One missing Othawa cub joined the pride this morning. So the larger Tumbela and 3 othawas lionesses and 5 cubs are together.

Though not seen, the tracks of the limping Tumbela and the other missing cub were found close by."

So I'm not alone neither you. Searching about having a safari vacation I found Leo's video of mapogos and ended up watching all his videos, then, I wanted to know more about the coalitions alive and their behavior. Greetings!!

I'm curious to see any images of limper in their real state, as Scorro Jr and the othawa lionesses don't appear to have been involved in any fights, and the plains camp males show signs of this. Could it be that the Limper Tumbela was caught alone, or was it those scratches caused by Nhenha and Nkuhuma, are not such significant marks, but it shows that they have found someone.

With Western Sabi Sands and Singita being so underpopulated with lions atm (with Mhangenis moving south and behaving semi-nomadic) theres actually enough space for Tumbelas and Othawas to just avoid and play" hide & seek" with 2 PC males for time being.
