If that so, they could be the front runners to acquire talamatis. As I had read earlier, talamatis are back to djuma and these 3 bros must be around chitwa chitwa. If they move further north, they cud meet talamatis, just need to be careful with Mohawk avoca

Atm they are still too young, they around the same age as 2 Talamati young males, but if they stick in this area, yes, they might be contesting this area towards late 2022 and next year.

Thanks to both of you @criollo2mil  & @Tonpa  you both are great.

Looks like things for the Othawa Pride are going well with 5 possible future adult females. If all cubs survive of course!

And what a gem Auntie Othawa is! Not able to have offspring of her own but one of the most useful members of the pride.  Such a Legend.

You’re welcome….Auntie Othowa is among my very very favorite lionesses ever.   I have so much fondness for what she’s lived and done.   Many cubs along these years owe her life to her.  She has the PERFECT name too.

Oh definitely! Well said.
What a name that represents her caring nature and also our love/respect for her.
To be the oldest Mapogo offspring with her sister and live through so many takeovers, raise the cubs of her deceased Sister to then helping her niece and remaining Sister in raising cubs to adulthood. And then now, once again helping both raise two new litters.
Damn, the life she has lived in 15 years is astonishing.
Hats of to 1/2 oldest Lioness' in Sabi Sands.

Great to see the Southern Pride female and her two daughters enjoying the spoils of a successful hunt of Blue wildebeest.

Great to see this group of the Nkuhumas that consist mainly of subadults accompanied by a couple of more experienced lionesses. Purple Eye is here - despite her hunting injury she is walking better. It is great that she is with the group. Her chance of survival goes way up when she is supported by the pride. Later Chela is identified with the group. Hopefully they have good hunting.

So many cubbies with different sizes. Most of them seems to be born in last months of 2021 and a few maybe early this year.
How many total cubies are there?
Is the male showing in the last is the " KRUGER MALE"? Where is his partner? People usually says there are two KRUGER MALES.

Hard to count with all the zooming around. But it looks like four very small cubs, one small cub slightly bigger than the rest, and then five almost sub-adults?

Yeah that should be a kruger male, not sure which one. Although the smudgenose(?) one has been missing since September

Great sighting, Kruger male was also there.

Also, this young male is already almost the size if adult females:

First litters of Kruger males where born towards late 2020 (if im not mistaken) , so this boy is still very young and large.

Edit: @Tonpa thats definitely a male, not sure, he looks quite big, do you know exactly when first litter was born?

Maybe these ones?  Kruger males arrived in September 2018 so these cubs should've been theirs

No, those cubs are long gone, there where 5 i think, all disappeared.

March 2021 (this should be first litter, but 1 is bigger)

This biggest cub should be that sub male, then these 4 smaller ones should be those just over 1 year old subs, then 1 another is slighty younger, and 4 smallest ones are newest litter.

So if i got it right, there should be : 1 older male sub, 5 subs just over 1 year old and 4 little cubs.

that makes sense

That cubs litter were sighted in October 2020 and estimated to be three months old so born July 2020
