There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Looks like a 3-way war is about to occur in SS. Situation right now is like 2011 when Majingilane, Matimba and Mapogo where all on their boundaries, they were roaring and chasing to each other, but no actual fight occurred except little skirmishes
Its not the first time the Nwas are in that region. The last time they visited they were just on a little expedition to find some opportunities for mating. They ran into the Mhangeni back then and must have realized there is a whole pride down with just one young kid to defend it. But they never really followed up on that.
The same thing will likely happen now. They will do some wandering, perhaps some mating and then go home. Chances are they left already.
If they know there is a whole pride down with just one young kid to defend it why would 4 prime males not take it for themselves ? I don't see the logic here

N'ws will expand sooner or later, they are 4 males entering their prime and currently have 0 females for mating as they have cubs in both Styx and SP, those females will not be back in estrus for atleast 2 yrs from now.
Mhangenis where/are prob out of reach for them, as they runed from them west to western sector, which is far out of their reach without abandoning Lion Sands/ Sabi Sabi, which they prob dont want yet.
With claiming Londolozi, they would have large territory from Londolozi to Lion Sands, which they can maintain as 4 males.

Because Mhangeni territory span all the way to western sector, in which Mhangeni and OM would hide to the last.. To invade that territory, they would need to completely abandon Lion Sands /Sabi Sabi and their young cubs.
Holding western sector and southern Sabi Sands is not maintainable.
Londolozi is far more "valuable" for them, as they could unite their territory, from Londolozi to Lion Sands.

They can do what OM was trying to do until he was stopped by the N'was, which is taking the pride south with them.

Could be plenty of reasons.
Just a few hours later they were found mating somewhere else, so that lioness was far less of a hassle than orchestrating a full take over.
The North is also not their home turf, so they may have wanted to do more scouting to see who else is up there first. Which is what we may be seeing now.
They also may have simply gotten distracted or something.
That particular event was also not that long ago, so they may still decide to take over the Mhangeni later.
I just don't think this is it yet. The chances that the Mhangeni are in that area is very slim. Seeing the Avocas and Birminghams are close.
Very scary especially for 2 Bboys. Nhenha maintaining his presence is good but Tinyo needs to join his brother. It's crazy how they're pushing the Northern Avoca males back north. That's how far they've pushed north. The Bboys are trapped east. They might be able to actually use the chaos to their advantage and catch Gore alone by cutting noise and isolating him. DM coming west is pretty surprising too but it doesn't seem like the 3 are working together. It's basically 4 VS 3 VS 2 and the Birmingham Boys are not in their prime. I've heard from a Londolozi ranger that seeing the Ndzega males made him realize how big the two Bboys are but they can't even use that to their advantage when they are older.

That's the beauty of the western sector. Its boxed in on three sides and far from any competing coalitions. It also has around 2 to 4 prides and plenty of food.
The perfect territory.
Unlike Londolozi. Which has no resident pride and is a no-man's-land between the BBoys, Avocas, Nwas and whoever end up taking Singita.
Perfect for daring roaming males trying to sneak in some mating with the 3 bordering prides though.
