I don't see a huge resemblance, yet it's clear they are related and the Delaporte Male is a Matimba.  Their eye shape doesn't match, neither are there ridges like on HB, and the nose shape/contour doesn't really match either.... They even have different mouth shapes.

I don't know, because I also didn't agree with some of the other males you put up for comparison on whether they are father/son.  I'm not being contentious, but these are honestly my opinions.  Too bad they don't take blood samples after death or during injury/assessment to later do DNA testing in the Kruger area!  This might reveal a bunch of eye-opening results!  Those lions that disappear, though, or that never get sedated for any reason, wouldn't be tested, but there are still plenty of other lions that do because they could have snares on them, get collared for monitoring, or relocated.  And rangers often encounter the bodies of some very well-known and popular lions after they die of natural or unnatural causes....

Or for Southern Avocas depends in which part of Mala Mala they were spotted.
