There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

We have thread for Nkuhuma pride now, post it there.

The post just as much fits into "Lions of Sabi Sands" "Avoca males" and "Nkuchuma pride". That is why I was always saying that creating those additional threads for a number of prides will only create mess.

Then post it in both Avoca and Nkuhuma threads if you want.

No mess here if people post in right threads.

No point of posting this in "Lion of Sabi Sands" thread as we have threads for both Avocas and Nkuhumas.

I don't and that is the point that it is usseles to have thread that overlap eachother in such big degree.

There are also updates which are about multiple prides and/or coalitions at once such as Singita reports which should fit in "Lions of Sabi Sands" as well.

Multiple threads can be at times confusing. I think that if the post has to do with a pride and coalition together or multiple prides and coalitions that have to do with the dynamics of Sabi Sands, then it should be in this thread. If it has to do with dynamics surrounding the pride or coalition alone , then it should be in that pride or coalitions thread if they have one. However, if that dynamic affects the reserves dynamics, it should also be in this thread.

Dont overcomplicate things.

These separated threads where made to lower number of posts in "Lions of Sabi Sands" thread, that thread is a mess, too many posts there, you cant find anything anymore without half a day of searching, its 700 pages already.

Also majority of people agreed to make this threads, and now when admins made them, you are against it? Cmon.

If you think that certain posts are important for multiple threads, post them in multiple threads then if needed, if you dont want to, then dont post, simple as that.

Why always overcomplicate things..

The last Ravenscourt lioness joined the Ximungwe pride, and was thus a Ximungwe lioness? Historically, since the current, and last, Ximungwe lioness is the elder of the two, will Gingerella become a member of the Ximungwe pride, or will the two of them create a new pride? Both Ximungwe and Othawa prides could certainly use Gingerella right now. If they do still remain Ximungwe pride, what would happen if the current Ximungwe were to perish, would Gingerella become an Othawa Breakaway, or remain Ximungwe? So many interesting questions come out of this pairing, I am just trying to gather some historical context, as this clearly isn't the first time such a scenario has arisen.

I remember I asked this question last year and most believe that Gingerella would simply become a member of the ximunghwe pride.   And no new  pride  name would be used.

Here is some fun facts about prides getting renamed The Ravenscourt pride (once originally part of the Castleton pride)

Due to the fact that the Castleton pride seldom crossed onto Castleton property anymore it was decided to rename them after the large open area that they were now spending most of their time - Ximhungwe clearings. Which the Tsalala pride came from Castleton pride also
