There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I know his limp was made worse during that attack, and he disappeared for awhile while he convalesced, I just don't recall the bite marks on his back during all of that.

U prolly don’t remember because it wasn’t a clear sighting, I believe the photo / video had been taken in the afternoon while it was quite dark. I remember a comment from myself talking about how it seemed part of his mane along his back had looked like it had been ripped off and someone else suggesting he had mange. Seeming as the mane has grown back I’d suggest it’s on the more recent side - within the last few weeks as @Mapokser mentioned.

Yeah, I think it happened in that attack, by the Gijimas, a few weeks back, as @Mapokser mentioned, as well. Neil still hasn't answered when it was filmed, but I have a feeling it was back around that time. As he hasn't been seen with the Mangheni in a couple of weeks either, unless he got attacked, yet again, and Uncle Skorro has rejoined with the Mangheni.
