S8 Male, apparently he killed something, the audio cuts out so it is unclear what was killed, but then a lioness with S8 killed something else related to whatever S8 killed, took it up a tree and ate it. None of this is seen in the video, only the guide describing the events. The guide mentions that whatever has happened is distressing. If anyone else knows what happened, that'd be great. Guide does mention he believes S8 is a very large male, bigger than the Avocas.

He's referring to the Snaggletooth wild dog, she was the alpha female. The Talamatis killed the Beta female during that same encounter and then Tavangumi the male leopard grabbed the beta and ate her in the tree

Hopefully the cubs can trigger their soft sides and they will not kill lionesses who are not ready for mating anymore after being fathers.

So they are still together or just meet from time to time and just tolerate each other?

I think if Nhenha and NK boy weren't around they'd be together all the time at this point. The young Othawa girl probably runs away every time they show up

Isn't she 3+ years old already?  She must be fertile.

Young, especially lone females who doesnt have a pride and no pride male, and who never mated before, are very careful to approach and trust other males, because until now, she was running from adult males she encounterd, because they would kill her.

So lone females like Gingerella and Tsalala young female will prob take more time to start mating.

Massive PC males scent following Othawas, fortunately couldnt locate them :

With Tumbela male out of the picture, PC males and NK/Nhenha will compete for complete dominance of western sector, while Othawas will play "hide" game from both.

You know, I wonder how different things would've been if the Styx male didn't receive that single bite to his bum...
