There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
With their tracks sending Rangers searching in the southern section of our reserve, close to Earth Lodge, these two male lions appeared unexpectedly in the north. After chasing a few hyenas that were trailing them, they settled in the shade as the heat of the morning set in.

Wonder who could they be, there are 3 groups of young males from 3 different prides often seen in Londolozi, Kambulas, Nkuhumas and sometimes 2 Talamatis

Older Mhangeni female is the female who has been away from the pride for months, as she was seen mating with PC boys.
For 2nd female it was taught to be cubs mother who was missing on recent Mhangeni sightings.
But, this female looks way to small and young to be her, from the distance on those pictures she actually looks like Tsalala princess. Also we can see orange eyes on that smaller females, neither of Mhangenis has orange eyes.
Descripton of sighting also goes : 1 older female with younger female, who was following and learning.
This is interesting turn of events, this older Mhangeni female is actually Tsalala princess long lost aunt, lets see if they stick together.

If other coalitions have their own thread I don't see why PC males shouldn't, there may be people who are really interested in them and want to know everything about them without having to search the scattered information in this thread.

I think its fair if they get one. So far things seem to be going well with the pride threads and it saves this one up for more nomadic or transient lions. Or Sabi Sand lion discussions in general.
The S1 males also seem to be establishing themselves with the southern pride. So they may need one soon too.
Not so mournful about them not becoming a powerhouse though. When they were three they were overly confident and aggressive. They seem to have chilled down after losing their brother which is good for the stability in that region.
