That snake needed a meal.  It's pretty darn skinny in the back.

Footage posted today of the Mhangeni Pride.  Only 6 lionesses and cub are sighted here.   Bringing continued concerns of whereabouts of the Othowa Male’s eldest surviving Sub adult and where she has been.   No sightings of her since 2 January.

Probably lost in the clash with the Kambula sub-adults. Its the curse of the Mangheni's. Only cub raised to maturity in the last 4 years is Tinya.  All the rest lost due to various reasons.  Not sure what to make of it.

Damin Dallas (Singita Guide) has apparently told a few who have inquired about her that there was a suspected clash between Kambula subs and The Mhangeni Pride.

Mhangeni need a good strong coalition like PC males to raise new generation.

Its more the "curse" of Singita. The Ximhungwe and Tsalala pride also had serious losses there. Not to mention the whole Mhangeni 12 affair, the death of Sym and countless of others.
Not that anything supernatural is going on. Due to the local geography and feline political landscape there are just a lot of different groups traversing the area.

Sad to hear about the cub though. I was kind of rooting for those in particular as it would once and for all dispel that nasty Mlangeni are terrible mothers nonsense.
Does anyone know what the gender of the surviving cub is. Word on the facebooks is that its now believed to be a male?
