They were once one of the biggest lions that ever walk through Sabi Sands, As per some experts, the Nkuhuma males were extremely big males

This is an older coalition than the thanda impi NK and his brother? Who fathered them?

In fact, These are the fathers of Sizanani (Blondie and Dozie)

The post should have said Nkuhuma pride males, saying the two Nkuhuma male lions makes them seem like they were born in the pride.

They were known  Nkuhuma males. As well, The Nkuhuma young males were born in 2007. Which the ages doesn't match.

During the heat of the day, we decided to visit a water source close to where the Southern Pride female was seen. As we approached, we saw the female lift her head up and on closer inspection, her two cubs were right with her getting a drink. We revisited her later in the afternoon and realised that she had made a kudu kill, and watched the cubs moving in and around a rocky area.

Tracks of a pride of lions were found early in the morning. We followed them and found the pride in a rocky outcrop – the Mhangeni Pride, their cubs, as well as the Othawa male!

After seeing the Mhangeni Pride and the Othawa male over the weekend, we followed up and they hadn’t ventured far from where we last saw them.  After watching them for some time, the whole pride got up, stretched and picked their way through the rocks to a waterhole where thirsts were quenched, and the cubs tumbled about.

The report is that at this latest sighting, there were two cubs observed.  I'm not saying the other two are gone, but I really hope not.

Where are the Styx lionesses?? nothing from them for around a month when they mated with N'ws and apperantly they are not seen in Sabi Sabi.. Maybe in Lion Sands? It would be shame if they moved again after they mated with N'ws, Sabi Sabi /Lion Sands  and N'ws is perfect for them to settle down finally.

The movements of Mhangeni Pride make no sense. I’m not surprised if cubs get lost going up and down from Londolozi to Sabi Sands.

It was interesting to hear Tristan talk about the Southern Avocas taking down 7 buffalos one night. They only ate one.   Neutral

Not maybe 7,but also a lot, 4/5 or something in 1 night..

but they where 5..

Is it even possible for 2 young males to kill 7 buffalos in 1 night?? Sounds impossible if you ask me..

I will try to find it when he says that..

He explained it a bit... During the drought between 2014-2017 lots of coalitions and Pride were pulling down Buffalo after Buffalo. I remember the NKs left buffalos behind uneaten all the time. This was still pretty crazy though... even weak buffalos can be dangerous so 7 is a crazy #
